Thrill-seekers are wanted to ‘hot-foot it’ into the first big challenge event of the year for Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospice.
Tŷ Hafan’s Firewalk Fundraiser will take place in the early evening of Sunday 9 March at the Cardiff City Stadium, Leckwith, Cardiff.
Spaces are limited so early registration is advised in order to avoid disappointment.
James Davies-Hale, Head of Fundraising for Tŷ Hafan, said: “When a child’s life will be short, Tŷ Hafan will walk alongside that family every step of the way, through life, death and beyond.
“By taking on Tŷ Hafan’s Firewalk Fundraiser you will be helping us to reach every child who needs our support.
“This thrilling challenge involves walking bare foot across 5 metres of 800 degree burning wood embers. There are no special effects, it’s just you and the fire!”
Registration is £25 and the charity is asking each participant is asked to commit to fundraising a minimum of £125.00 in sponsorship. They will be given a fundraising pack and the full support of the Tŷ Hafan team to help them successfully reach their fundraising target.
Tŷ Hafan’s Firewalk Fundraiser, sponsored by Altralaw, is for people aged 18 or over and no previous experience is needed as all necessary training will be provided on the day.
