Denise Fox is 4/6 to be reunited with estranged husband Jack Branning in the viewer-decided storyline strand, while a reconciliation with Ravi Gulati is 6/4.
Lauren Branning is the new 6/4 favourite in the ‘who left Cindy Beale for dead’ market
A number of actors are tipped to return for the show’s 40th anniversary – with Mimi Keene (8/15), Karen Henthorn (4/6) and Joe Swash (4/5) the shortest prices here.
EastEnders will make soap history next month when the show gives viewers the power to decide a storyline strand, as part of the programme’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
Show bosses have confirmed EastEnders fans will be able to vote for whether Denise Fox – who is played by Diane Parish – reunites with her estranged husband Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), or her lover Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara).
Gambling.com Television Expert James Leyfield has weighed up the possibilities and created markets on who Denise Fox will be reunited with, who left Cindy Beale for dead and which actors will return for the show’s 40th anniversary:
It’s 4/6 that viewers decide Denise Fox should go back to Jack Branning.
While he recently did the dirty on her and she is now doing the same, there’s every chance EastEnders fans will want the long-term pair to get back together.
Meanwhile it’s 6/4 that viewers pick Ravi Gulati as Denise’s man going forward.
Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa), who dramatically exposed Cindy’s affair with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) in the Queen Vic on Christmas Day, is the new 6/4 favourite to have bludgeoned her foe and left her for dead over the festive period.
Spoiler alert – Cindy is to wake up from her coma next week and after she makes a police statement Lauren will be arrested. However, it’s still early days in the whodunit.
Cindy Jr. is 7/4 to be the culprit, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if one or more of the Knight family were to blame – with Elaine (13/8), Gina (2/1), Junior (3/1), George (4/1) and Anna Knight (5/1) all included in the market.
After it was confirmed that Ross Kemp will return to Walford, Mimi Keene is now the new 8/15 favourite in this market. Another potential returnee could be Nigel Bates’ partner Julie Haye, who is played by Karen Henthorn (4/6).
