The Sospan Road Runners organised a charity ball for their 40th Anniversary and raised £750 for the Chemotherapy Day Unit at Prince Philip Hospital.
The Sospan Road Runners are a local running club who have raised thousands of pounds for local charities over the years.
Debbie Garner, Member of the Sospan Road Runners, said: “The event took place on 16th November 2024 at Parc y Scarlets.
“We decided to support the unit for our charity ball as several of our members, family and friends have used the unit. Thank you to our members, members families, friends past and present for supporting the event.”
Diane Henry-Thomas, Fundraising Support Officer, said; “Thank you to the Sospan Road Runners for choosing to support the Chemotherapy Day Unit during their 40th Anniversary.
“The support of our local communities enables us to provide services over and above what the NHS can provide in the three counties of Hywel Dda and we are extremely grateful for every donation we receive.”
