Fans of James Bond are still eagerly awaiting news relating to the next film in the popular spy series.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson was the hot favourite to be offered the part for the 26th movie in the franchise’s history, but a new frontrunner has emerged.
Gambling.com takes a look at the names in the frame to wear the tuxedo when the next film is finally announced.
Happy Valley Star Norton Heads Bond Field
James Norton is now the outright favourite to play the famous British spy.
He has been one of the favourites for the Bond gig for some time, but now leads the way at 5/2.

Josh O’Connor Sliding Out Of Contention
Josh O’Connor was not even in the conversation at the start of December, but a casual tip from a media brand specialising in the entertainment industry meant he became a surprising 6/4 favourite, but his odds have since drifted to 7/1.
Turner Prize On The Cards?
Callum Turner’s prospects of playing Bond are gradually improving and he is 7/1 to land the role.
Cavill’s Bond Odds Shorten
Even though he turned 41 in May, Henry Cavill has been one of the frontrunners to play 007 ever since Craig decided to call it quits.
Recent footage recently emerged from Cavill’s 2005 screen test to play Bond and although the then 22-year-old actor lost out to Craig, his odds have since shortened from 9/1 to 15/2.
Lowden A Contender
The roles keep pouring in for Jack Lowden, who was 14/1 at the end of October to play Bond, but his odds have been cut to 9/1.
Mescal Could Shoot To Thrill
Paul Mescal was 15/2 to slip into an Aston Martin and go save the world, but his odds recently lengthened to 10/1.
Laviscount And Page Hopes Fading
Lucien Laviscount first appeared on our screens in the teen drama Grange Hill in the Naughties, but he is perhaps best known for his role as the love interest in Emily in Paris, in which he plays Alfie, the banker.
The 32-year-old from Burnley was 10/1 to follow in the footsteps of Craig at the end of 2024, but his price has lengthened substantially to 16/1.
Rege-Jean Page is now 20/1 to take on the role of Bond – up from 16/1 late last year.
Damson Idris Could Get A Phone Call
Idris Elba has fallen down the pecking order to feature, with odds of 40/1 available, but his namesake Damson Idris is trending in the right direction when it comes to Bond betting.
The 32-year-old hails from Peckham, in London, and is listed as a 25/1 shot for the role, the same odds as Gangs of London’s Sope Dirisu, Citadel’s Richard Madden and Babygirl’s Harris Dickinson.
