A new study has revealed the most attractive TV characters, according to AI.
Experts at QR Code Generator analysed images of well-known TV characters, such as Daryl Dixon and Jon Snow, using an AI attractiveness test tool; the characters were scored out of 100, and those with the highest scores have been deemed the most attractive.
In first place is Rachel Green, with an attractiveness score of 81 out of 100. The iconic Friends character, played by Jennifer Aniston, has been hailed as a style icon since the show first aired. Her hairstyle became a popular trend in the 1990s, with many women choosing to have the same style for their own hair.
Second place is claimed by Chandler Bing, with an attractiveness score of 79 out of 100. Another character from Friends, portrayed by actor Matthew Perry, was admired by audiences for his humour and charm. Many of his famous jokes were improvised by the actor himself, with excellent comedic timing that made audiences love Chandler.
Jesse Pinkman is in third place, with an attractiveness score of 78 out of 100. Actor Aaron Paul plays Jesse in the TV show Breaking Bad, and is an emotionally complex character who struggles with his moral compass throughout. The role was almost offered to someone else as they didn’t believe Aaron could bring the tough persona to his character.
In fourth place is Dean Winchester and Dexter Morgan, both with an attractiveness score of 77 out of 100. Dean Winchester, one of the main characters of the show Supernatural, is known for his sassy charm and sarcastic humour. The actor, Jensen Ackles, brings an emotional depth to the show, but is also loved for his ‘bad-boy persona’.
Michael C. Hall portrays the character Dexter Morgan in the show Dexter, and uses a clean-cut appearance to contrast the killer nature he hides. Michael provides a sadistic dark wit to the character with a deadpan sense of humour which entertains audiences throughout each season.
Buffy Summers takes fifth place, with an attractiveness score of 76 out of 100. The fearless vampire slayer, played by Sarah Michelle Gellar in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, faces constant emotional and physical challenges throughout the show and learns to overcome them. This has made the character a role model for girls and women, as she is shown as a strong female lead who is independent and relatable.
Sixth place is claimed by Monica Geller, with an attractiveness score of 75 out of 100. Courteney Cox plays Monica in the TV show Friends, and was one of the first female television characters to be portrayed as openly competitive and ambitious in a positive light. She brought a caring and nurturing side to a character who was originally supposed to be edgy and tough.
Lucy Ricardo is in seventh place, with an attractiveness score of 73 out of 100. Lucille Ball, who plays Lucy in the show I Love Lucy, was the first woman to star in her own sitcom, breaking barriers in the male-dominated entertainment industry and making her a well-loved character.
Eighth place is taken by Phoebe Buffay, with an attractiveness score of 72 out of 100. Phoebe, played by Lisa Kudrow in the show Friends, brought an optimistic and carefree attitude to the series and is known for her kindness and loyalty. She is well loved for her caring nature and her eccentricity.
Sherlock Holmes, Sheldon Cooper, and Morticia Addams all share ninth place, with an attractiveness score of 71 out of 100. Benedict Cumberbatch plays Sherlock Holmes in Sherlock, portraying a character whose rare emotionally vulnerable moments have won the hearts of viewers.
Sheldon Cooper, played by Jim Parsons in The Big Bang Theory, has won audiences over with his quirky personality and his evolution over the show. He initially struggles to express emotions, but his relationships with his friends and partner help him express his love.
Carolyn Jones, who portrays Morticia Addams in the original The Addams Family TV show, became recognisable for her looks and demeanour. Her character has a gothic elegance, with long dresses and long black hair, giving her a sophisticated and graceful aura.
Lastly, Jim Halpert is in tenth place, with an attractiveness score of 70 out of 100. John Krasinski plays Jim Halpert in the U.S. version of The Office, and brings a blend of humour and charm to the show, quickly making him a fan-favourite.

Marc Porcar, CEO of QR Code Generator PRO S.L, has commented on the findings:
“Shows can experience a huge rise in viewers depending on who they cast for specific roles, especially when a character is admired for their looks. While attractiveness is subjective, some characters have a much wider fanbase than others due to their looks.”
