Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festival returns to Pembrey Circuit on Sunday 21 September – in association with The Trade Centre Wales and Iconic Auctioneers
The Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festival is returning to Pembrey Circuit on Sunday 21 September – and in 2025 the all-action event will be presented in association with two renowned and highly respected automotive companies, The Trade Centre Wales and Iconic Auctioneers.
The Trade Centre Wales is Wales’ largest used car supermarket, with showrooms and floodlit forecourts brimming with thousands of cars at sites in Abercynon and Neath.
Iconic Auctioneers is a world-class specialist auction house for the sale of classic cars, modern supercars, competition cars, historic motorcycles and automobilia.
Last year’s inaugural Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festivalattracted 6,000 people to the ‘Home of Welsh Motorsport’ – with Pembrey Circuit opening its doors like never before and giving unprecedented one ticket access-all-areas to the paddocks, supercar zones, motorsport displays, pit garages and live action demonstrations.
Variety is the key to this truly immersive two- and four-wheel automotive spectacular, with everything from the world’s fastest lawnmower to Ayrton Senna’s McLaren MP4/4 on display last year!
The event proved a big hit with fans, with 95% of people who attended the 2024 Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festival sayingthat they’d recommend the event to friends and 90% saying that they are very likely to visit the event in 2025.
The event got Pembrey Circuit trending on social media, with almost 1M social media views and almost half a million video views.
The 2025 Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festival will build on the success of last year’s event – with more historic F1 cars, more supercars, more rare and unique motorsport machinery and even more motorsport celebrities in attendance. And a very special headline theme, to be announced in due course.
There will also be an even greater emphasis on fan experience, with lessons learnt from the 2024 event – with more car parks opening within Pembrey to aid a faster flow into the venue, a new food village featuring a greater variety of lunch options, much more seating and better event signage, for example.
“As a company founded in Wales, we are immensely proud to support the Welsh Motorsport and Supercar Festival at Pembrey Circuit,” says Mark Bailey, founder and owner of The Trade Centre Wales.
“This event provides us with a wonderful opportunity to give back to the local community. We are excited to engage with the passionate motorsport enthusiasts in Wales and look forward to an extraordinary day filled with high-octane action and unforgettable experiences.”
“Although we have international clients, I’m thrilled, as a local boy, to partner with the team at Pembrey Circuit,” said Iconic Auctioneers classic car specialist Arwel Richards.
“Last year’s Welsh Motorsport and Supercar Festival was phenomenally well attended and shows that enthusiasts of motorsport and supercars can be found in their thousands beyond the M4.”
“Our auction group was founded on the principles that motorsport and cars are enthusiast led, and none better than when local clubs, companies and fans pull together to host an eventlike this.”
“We’re delighted to have Trade Centre Wales and Iconic Auctioneers come on board as Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festival partners, as they’re not just putting their names to the event but will exhibit some very exciting cars that have never been seen before at Pembrey – all of which we’ll announce in due course,” said Phil Davies, Pembrey Circuit Manager.
“Last year’s inaugural Welsh Motorsport & Supercar Festivalwas a huge success and attracted a big crowd, so we’re aiming to build on that and make it an even bigger and better show for the fans this year.”
