Eurovision 2025: UK Odds-On To Get Less Than 100 Points – With Ireland Tipped To Give Most
The United Kingdom have struggled in the last two Eurovision Song Contests, earning 46 and 24 points, respectively, but there is renewed hope this year.
Country-pop trio Remember Monday will represent the UK in the Grand Final in Basel, Switzerland, with their catchy tune ‘What The Hell Just Happened?’ However, The Farnborough group are big as 175/1 to win the contest with some bookmakers.
Gambling.com Entertainment Expert James Leyfield has looked ahead to this musical extravaganza and compiled odds and accompanying analysis on: how many points will the UK receive, who will give the UK the most points, who will the UK give the most points to, and who will win the competition.
History certainly isn’t on Remember Monday’s side, and they are just 2/7 to receive between one and 100 points, which the UK have in 11 of the last 14 Grand Finals.
What The Hell Just Happened?
There is also a chance the UK may score even less than 1 – the dreaded “nul points” across the board.
It’s just Evens for Remember Monday to repeat this unwanted feat this year – like James Newman back in 2021.
Only twice between 2014 and 2024 have the UK broken the 100-point barrier, and this year’s representatives are a massive 4/1 to do so.
Meanwhile it’s 10/1 that they can get anywhere near Sam Ryder and receive more than 300 points.
Ireland To Continue Generosity?
If the UK do receive any points, then Ireland may be the most likely contributors.
The Emerald Isle have given the most points to the UK over the course of the Eurovision Song Contest, with 209, and the UK’s neighbours are 6/4 favourites to be the most generous to them in this year’s competition.
Austria are 2/1 second favourites to be the UK’s best contributor on the night, followed by Belgium (3/1), Portugal (7/2), France (4/1) and Germany (4/1).
Who Will The UK Vote For?
Sweden are 4/6 favourites to receive the UK’s 12 points again this year, and are also the best-priced 21/10 favourites to win the 2025 Grand Final.
The UK have given Israel – currently fourth favourites to win this year’s contest – 128 points in Eurovision history, and they are 11/8 to award them 12 points this year.
They are followed by Austria (13/8) and France (2/1), to whom the UK gave 12 points in 2021.
At Eurovision 2024, the UK awarded 12 points to Portugal, but they are massive 500/1 outsiders to win this year’s competition.
As a result, Portugal are 10/1 outsiders to receive the UK’s maximum points this time around.
