Successful Unveiling of the Terry Price Memorial Hall
A Momentous Event at Canolfan Gwili, Hendy

A significant milestone was reached on Friday, 28th March 2025, as the Canolfan Gwili community proudly unveiled the newly named Terry Price Memorial Hall in a ceremony attended by local dignitaries, friends, and family. The event celebrated the life and legacy of Terry Price, a revered sportsman whose remarkable contributions to both local sports and the community will never be forgotten.

The unveiling ceremony featured inspiring speeches from Jim Mills and Brynmor Williams, both of whom shared heartfelt reflections on Terry’s lasting impact, particularly his dedication to sports. As an all-around sportsman, Terry’s commitment to the local sports scene left an indelible mark on the community.
Heno S4C were in attendance, broadcasting live for their programme, speaking with Brynmor Williams and Terry Price’s brother, local Community Councillor, Geraint Price. Their live coverage ensured that this important moment was shared with a wider audience across Wales, capturing the emotional speeches and creating real excitement for the evening that followed.
In addition to the emotional speeches and unveiling, the event featured a truly exceptional buffet provided by Cegin Beca, whose outstanding catering helped make the occasion even more memorable. The food was widely praised for its quality, variety, and attention to detail in presentation.
